We maintain long-term positive relationships with clients such as The Goodwood Estate, where we have successfully delivered a new coffee shop and betting facilities, ongoing reactive and planned maintenance. We have also been actively involved in Event building, for the prestigious ‘Members Meeting’, ‘Festival of Speed’ and ‘Goodwood Revival’ Events.
Halcyon have a wealth of experience providing construction and procurement expertise for the food and drinks industry, the leisure and retail worlds. We have been involved with the conversion of the March Stand at Goodwood racecourse which provides a brand new betting experience with state of the art projection technology. New Coffee shops and Bar facilities, as well as office and shop conversion works.
Long hours and tight deadlines mark out event building as a very particular type of work. Through Halcyon Events we have provided building and carpentry services for the Event team at Goodwood. We have undertaken the building of ramps, bridges and walkways, pop up bars and catering facilities, temporary floors and decks. For the Festival Of Speed and Revival events we also took on some of the bigger more permanent and semi-permanent features, at these prestigious world-renowned events. In the last couple of years, we have constructed the ‘Driver’s Club’ with lake and old vintage boathouse. Betty’s Hair Salon with its 60’s chic interior, the Porsche garage and the centrepiece ‘March Motor Works’ – a ground up construction of a period garage showroom for Rolls Royce/BMW.
We work regularly with clients such as Commercial and Residential Letting Agents, Building Owners and across the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. At the Goodwood Racecourse, we provide pre-season maintenance checks, close season building and decorating works. We also deploy reactive personnel on racedays, to assist with the smooth running of the events, throughout the year.
