A traditionally built, Architect-designed, five bedroomed 265m family home, built on part of the garden of an adjoining property.Featuring an impressive 10 metre high entrance hallway with glazed lantern and open vaulted spaces throughout.
Built using traditional methods of brick and block, alongside a long and straight roman road, the house spans the full width of the plot to provide a welcome and peaceful haven of tranquility to the rear. The triple height entrance hallway, plays host to a glazed ‘lantern’ some 10 metres up. To the rear we designed and installed 3 full height glazed panels facing into the original Victorian walled kitchen garden. The open plan kitchen/family room is a particular feature with an impressive island, boasting an enamel crackle glazed, lava stone worktop, all the way from Volvic in France.
This was also the first house we built with structured wiring, Home Cinema and Multi Room audio and video entertainment system. There is also a detached design studio nestling under an old Oak Tree in the garden.
