A new double‑height entrance hall gives the house its sense of space and arrival, leading into open‑plan living areas that open directly onto the garden and pool terrace through slimline sliding glazing. The result is a light, flexible ground floor that connects seamlessly with the outdoors. Upstairs, new glazing frames long views across farmland to the coastline, bringing natural light into the bedrooms and reinforcing the home’s connection to its setting.
Externally, the build combines precise contemporary detailing with materials that sit comfortably in the rural context. Naturally weathering vertical timber cladding softens the form and settles the house into the landscape. The surrounding planting uses hardy coastal species and grasses for a low‑maintenance, naturalistic finish.
